the way I feel, I'm just staying inside, not much energy, so my "sparkle" won't be too lit LOL! I hope your sparkle is bright! have a wonderful day and weekend Beth!
This week has been another blur. We will be going to his cardiac class this evening..after this one, just 4 are left..Yipee. I worked outside earlier, but just briefly. The yucca plant next door is trying to come up again. I got mine gone earlier this year by blocking the sun on it, as well as continuing to put salt on it. This plant faces on the N side of Marie's former home. I told the new owner a few weeks ago about it. She gave me permission to keep trying to kill it. I'll need more salt, so hoping to get that done by the weekend..since we do have rain chances. Enjoy the rest of your week bud.
oh gosh, that must have been really scary for your niece! they are so dangerous, and quick! I don't know anything about that oak snake, but sounds like a "good" snake, that just eats mice etc? I know a lot of people say leave those kind of snakes around, since they help control the rodant population, but it's a snake, and I do not care for them at all...

Hi Deb,
well yesterday was snake day. I walked out on my front porch about 10 am and there was an oak snake on the railing, just waiting to scare the bejeebersout of me. LOL. About 4 pm my neice called and there was a huge rattlesnake in front of her house on the road. Some young men had stopped and killed it. Good thing too as it was close to her house and she has outdoor pets, not to mention her kids. He was "only" about 4 feet long but as big around as an adult's forearm. Anyway, hope your Thursday has been good. Hubby has been mowing and weeding our little garden patch and I've been diong chores in the AC.
