Blessings to you this Friday. My page right now is all about winter and family but today let's take a road trip.
All my life has been about cars. My dad was a Plymouth, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep car dealer for 50 years. Roadtrips were always a part of that life. Do you have trips to reminisce about?
Growning up with 500 acres I learned to ride motorcycles at a young age. My favorite motorcycle road trip with Rbt was from Portland, OR down the coast on highway 101 around Crater Lake back up Hwy 97 through Bend and back to Portland. Wayne and Evelyn were on that trip with us. What memories!
I love roadtrip along the coast lines. Many, many years ago, Rbt and I traveled the coast line of California on Hwy 1. We went through Pebble Beach and made a stop at Carmel Beach. That was such a SHOCK to Rbt that the water was so cold. Texas coast has warm water and NO wetsuits needed.
While I don't like the cold weather, I have traveled to Banff in Canada and seen the biggest snow flurries on Mount Hood in Washington, again many years ago. It is beautiful to look at but I still can't understand how people live in such cold. I love the entire State of Texas!
A small car is fun to zip around town in, we had a Mini Cooper for a while, but I will always be a "MUSCLE CAR" girl at heart and no matter what I drive, I love driving fast.
I wish I had gotten my Grandparents VW bus from Oakland, CA and had turned it into something like this 40 years or so ago. What fun traveling around and sharing books with others would be. I hope you have enjoyed the roadtrip and the vehicles and will explore a trip of your own soon. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
