As I begin to get things done and organized for work this week, I wanted to stop by and wish you, this last week of 2025, peace, joy, happiness and most of all love. Thank you for sharing your life and world with me. I will check in on you as time allows me this week. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
Hello Sue! my stepdaughter and her kids came for a weekend visit on Friday, they were going to leave abt 2 or 3 today, but decided to head back to OK early, to hopefully beat the blue norther coming in...so I made them a big breakfast before they headed back home. It's 75* right now but when that norther blows in, 40 mph winds, and a 30* drop in temperature is supposed to hit about 4 pm! brr! LOL!
Good afternoon Dear❤️ Boomer friends ❤️ I want to thank everyone Thank you all❤️ for the kind messages I'm busy, but I put a lot of love ❤️into my grooming work, and I get gratitude in return. from the dogs❤️ Lots of love and hugs❤️ Soraya S❤️ Bye Bye I'm not home Have a nice weekend and❤️ Happy New Year Next Wednesday!! Evening❤️ Bye Bye
Saturday is going to be GREAT. Yesterday it was 85ยฐ and today should be beautiful too.
Come on over, the gate is easy to open. There is so much we can do together today.
It is the perfect day to take the Christmas Tree down. Do you take your tree down or leave it up for a while?
I could sure use your help taking all the lights down and packing them away.
After all, we have a BLUE norther moving across our area on Sunday night. By Monday night, we will probably drop to 27ยฐ. I will NOT be outside! I will go from the warm house to the warm car to the warm office.
So you are welcome to spend the day here enjoying our temperatures in the low 80's while it lasts and having fun with me. Because even though the days are getting longer now, it will be dark and time for bed way too soon.
"As December draws to a close, we find ourselves standing in a quiet in-between. The calendar is nearly full, yet our hearts feel unfinished...lingering somewhere between what was and what might be. The final days of the year carry a softer sound...less about celebration, more about reflection. It is a pause the world offers us, whether we notice it or not. For now, we stand here...in the middle of the last page and the first, quietly hopeful, and ready in our own time."
Happy Birthday Jesus! CHRISTMAS starts today...the "holiday" is over, that was "commercially driven"..we use this date to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus...today, tomorrow & all the days after..share the Love that Jesus shared while he was on earth...help the needy, feed the hungry, pray for the sick, love your enemies, and FORGIVE... Merry Christmas! love, Deb
It is a perfect Christmas for the two of us! We will be breaking weather records this week with temperatures in the 80's. No snow to build snowmen, no scarfs around our necks. Our families are sharing their Christmas with other friends they don't get to often see. I work during this time of year so others can visit with their families. We have our two grand dogs visiting our three dogs and neighbors helping when we need help. Friends over the miles like you celebrating the birth of Jesus. Blessings & Hugs! Pam -N- Robert
Hi Sue! what a crazy week it's been so far and it's only Tuesday! LOL! update on my knee, today, I went back to the doctor for my post-op checkup, she was very pleased with my progress. She said the stitches needed to stay in for a few more days, but with Christmas this week, I will go back on Tuesday Dec 30th to not only get the stitches out, but to also start physical therapy. She also told me after seeing my knee from the inside, I will probebly need a total knee replacement in about 5 yrs, give or take.. We had to take my computer to the computer hospital yesterday morning, after keeping it overnight, with no word, we stopped by the shop after my doctor's visit this afternoon, to find out what's going on (we did call once yesterday late afternoon, it still needs a new battery, which THEY said would take another 3 weeks, we decided I would bring it home as is. My hubby called another Apple verified repair shop to ask them about a battery, the hubby ended up taking my laptop there, he did a quick check, ordered the battery it needs, said it should be in his shop by Monday or Tuesday, he'd call us when he got the battery, we would bring my laptop to him and he should have it ready withiin a few hours. John even liked the people in this 2nd shop better, they took the time to talk WITH him, where the other shop worker didn't want to take the time for anything... I know this time of the year is busy and stressful, but that's a business, and John was the only person in that shop. SO, one day next week I won't have accesss of my computer for awhile. I also posted an updated bulletiin about my brother-n-law, Robert, it was dire for a day.
I hope you're ready for Christmas Sue. We're not doing anything, since I'm still recovering from surgery. Hopefully, when I see the doctor on the 23rd she'll be pleased with my progress. Enjoy this special week ahead my friend! Deb
My goodness where did the month of December go? I just had my birthday and the month is almost gone. Christmas is almost here.
All of God's creatures are excited for Christmas day to arrive!
I want a hippopotamus for Christmasโฆ.only a hippopotamus will do
Sing & dance and share that Christmas joy with everyone! Thank you Maryline for letting me steal your graphic!
But don't forget to share Christ and the true meaning of Christmas.
Several years ago, I made & sent out the above for our Christmas Cards. I don't always get the time to do that because when others want off, I like to work so they can be with family. We are blessed to see our family during the year.
I am so grateful that we are all part of God's flock and that we are all family. Blessings & Hugs & lots of LOVE! Pam
we did too Sue, and I loved them also! A few years ago, I found a bubble light night light, I bought 2, can't remember the store I found them in though..they still work!

Hi Sue! after a 4 hr delay yesterday, I finally got my knee surgery done, during my waiting time, my IV failed, not once but twice, the 3rd try, kept, and lasted through the surgery. Recovery wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be, I vomited 3 times..finially I was allowed to go home, an hour drive, through constructiion and stop and go traffic, gave me car sickness, and all that I went though kept me nausious well into the night, however, I did get a little bit good night's sleep! The reason for the delay was the patient before me, his hip replacement took longer because of the very bad shape his hips were in... my surgeon took her time to make sure he was well taken care of and not rushed though...she did the same with me...Her first name is Grace...which fits her character so well.. I made me a scrambled egg this morning, first meal I've eaten since 5 :15 Tuesday evening...now hoping it doesn't upset my tummy... So sorry this is long, maybe it's too much info...LOL have a wonderful day my friend!
Hello Sue! these doggies look like our Maddie, her dad was a king charles cavalier, her mother was a miniture poodle...she looks more like her father than her mother...she's just the best dog! I hope your day is a happy one!
I will not be here on a daily basis to post to you after today. I start working tomorrow, Wednesday. I work through Friday, January 2nd. I will try to read, answer or send a graphic when I have time. I have so many pretty Christmas graphics to share but my time will be very limited. Thank you for understanding!
Whether you celebrate Christmas Texas style in warm weather,
or are knee deep in snow celebrating Christmas,
remember the reason for a true Christmas is the birth of Jesus and
be a light to everyone you meet, write or talk to each day of your life.
