thank you Bobby, he had another "episode" at work Tuesday evening, came and went quickly (didn't even last 5 min) so he decided it was time to quit...His boss said he was always welcome to come back whenever he's better...but, I don't think that'll happend, according to his ICU realease paper work, this will just progress..they don't know how fast of slow, but he'll end up having the big stroke...

Hi Bobby! after a 4 hr delay yesterday, I finally got my knee surgery done, during my waiting time, my IV failed, not once but twice, the 3rd try, kept, and lasted through the surgery. Recovery wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be, I vomited 3 times..finially I was allowed to go home, an hour drive, through constructiion and stop and go traffic, gave me car sickness, and all that I went though kept me nausious well into the night, however, I did get a little bit good night's sleep! The reason for the delay was the patient before me, his hip replacement took longer because of the very bad shape his hips were in... my surgeon took her time to make sure he was well taken care of and not rushed though...she did the same with me...Her first name is Grace...which fits her character so well.. I made me a scrambled egg this morning, first meal I've eaten since 5 :15 Tuesday evening...now hoping it doesn't upset my tummy... So sorry this is long, maybe it's too much info...LOL have a wonderful day my friend!
