Sunday is always a good day to be Thankful, like Thankful Thursday.  Ok every day is a good day to be Thankful.  

I am thankful for my Orchids and Anthuriums that bloom inside.  Lately we have had so much rain outside that it is nice to see beautiful things inside blooming too.  

I am thankful to have our family trim our trees from time to time.  Wayne loves working outside when he comes for a visit.  

I am thankful for family and neighbors that love all the animals God created.  

I am thankful for neighbors who love us and make us laugh.  Bennett hands a frog to his sister Livvy but the frog jumps away for his life.

Sunday June 2nd is International VW Bus Day, which normally would be my comment but it’s also National Cancer Survivor's Day. And a way for survivors to share their journey and offer hope and inspiration to those who have been newly diagnosed. (I survived bladder cancer in 2002 and been in remission for 22 years).

how are you?....

...and what is the weather like where you are??

It rains practically non-stop here!!! ...and that for almost a year!!!...(hello floods!!!)

We are invaded by big red slugs.!!!

I don't know how it's possible.....but the electrician , I called for an exterior power outlet ,that was causing short circuits, discovered a large red slug in the (waterproof) power outlet!!!

Another managed to slip under my front door and got lost in the corridor... (there should be no space under this door.... it's a new building...and the water doesn't get in.

These critters are contortionists!!!!

There are so many of them that the chickens don't want them anymore!!! ..just like my hedgehog...who walks by without looking back....

I used to chase away the jackdaws when they came to my lawns...but in recent months I have tolerated them... Let them get their fill !!!

I planted young vegetable shoots in my garden...because I like to eat organic...but there is no way to keep them longer than one day !!!....

it's so sad!!

I don't know how to sit in an armchair on the terrace, without noticing the presence of dozens of slugs

But, I'm going to stop talking about it....it's no use. ..or I'll end up drooling like them!!

What do you do on Saturdays, anything special?  We try to stay home on weekends because of the traffic.  

Remember when Saturdays were reserved for taking a bath and visiting with family?  

Today find a quiet place with a beautiful view and a wonderful friend or a family member to sit with you.  

Just nurture each other.  Talk about the good things and all the good times together.  Then laugh about it with each other!  

Love heals the soul.  The greatest is to love everyone, just as God loves us!
