I am quite used to it, but I never take anything for granted...you did the right thing by running back to your car. You just never know and it's better to be safe! The bear spray is powerful and also works on other anilmals that may be threatening. (not to mention any humans that may threaten also) I am always prepared lol...

April is the month for most storms down here in the south,
I moved down here in 2011 right after 27 tornados came through our state and hit in this area . there were trucks here from all over helping to put back power,
oh la la!.. so many squirrels, it's crazy! ...do you live near a forest? ...or in a forest? ...

Yes, they are very destructive...I have at least 20 of them in the trees surrounding my home...lol, it is a big problem here, not only for me, but for my whole area. One of the many things to deal with while living in the country.

I can hear him chewing wood underneath the house...they are cute, yes, but can be very destructive. I have catch and release traps set, so I will see what happens...I hope he likes peanuts and sunflower seeds lol!
