That happened here a few years ago..a transformer across the street blew. It was so dang loud. But the crew arrived very quickly and had everything restored within a few hours.
We visited a friend yesterday in SC..just 20 miles south of us. He recently moved back here after living in CA for 12 years. David is currently working. We managed to get the yard cut yesterday early. It looks so much better. We might is it another friend later today..he's widowed and doesn't have much company. His wife passed away a year ago. The fireworks were going full force here last night in Downtown. They were so loud. I'm sure we will hear more this evening. I'm just waiting for cooler temps. Have a wonderful weekend

GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS, & BLESSINGS, Ms. Deb, I pray YOU have a SATISFYINGLY STEADFAST SENSATIONAL SATURDAY/4TH of JULY, and are having a SALUBRIOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Howdy Deb - I'm staying inside too. You're right- it's too darn hot for us old folks! We had a thunderstorm here with lightning, so I assume that ruined everyone's fireworks. I didn't hear any noise, so I'm glad of that. If it doesn't rain anymore, they'll be out shooting off those loud firecrackers tonight. Some are so loud, sound like cannons going off. I'll be glad when it's all over with. The 4th of July is my least favorite holiday. It's always hot and noisy. I'll be glad when the whole month is over:) hugs, Darlene
