me again. LOL.  Yes, i've had a cake pop, at a kids birthdy party I think. Also Starbucks sells them. My girls used to get them all the time till they got old e nough to want coffee.  haha. Now they're 13 and 17 and they get a coffee or drink instead of those.

We didn't get any snow or ice, Deb.  Just cold temps and sunny days.  I'm thankful for the sun. It helps.

Hi Deb, did you get snow?   You may have already mentioed it but I'm so behind on comments here. Glad to hear your ice is melting.  I know from experience that ice is worse than snow sometimes.

January is coming to an end already!  Where did the month go?  

But what we have just been through could have been worse!  

Wendy, our daughter, in Bowie, Texas did not have this much but they got lots of snow!!!  

'Nuff said.  

But I do feel sorry for others like the animals and birds!

This storm just tends to linger. The cold is still around, here. Our plateau just seemed to luck right out, as the rest of Tennessee got hit hard, but we never lost power, for very long, and all our family is just fine, except we're all shivering...

Good Afternoon my sweet friends. Time gets away from me so fast when I'm not at home. I wasn't planning on going anywhere today but my day didn't start out very good and needed a pick me up. Went to see our son Trey, his wife Tiffany and the sweetest dog ever Aurura. I have a picture of her in my gallery. Anyway, I feel much better and this day has been so pretty. The sun is shining and its 58 degrees. All the snow ( we got maybe 1 to maybe 1 1/2 inches) is almost gone except in shady areas. Last Saturday was so cold here. I don't think we got above freezing. How is the weather where you live? Is it icy ? I need to get off of here as I am making a new casserole I saw on Facebook Reels. Its called Creamy Chicken Cobbler Casserole. It looks very good. We are good here..stuff is still melting outside. Our driveway still has some icy patches, but todays sunshine should melt most of it off. I finally left the house mid day for groceries. They're still forecasting snow for Saturday. Now we wait.
