    Howdy Deb - I'm staying inside too. You're right- it's too darn hot for us old folks! We had a thunderstorm here with lightning, so I assume that ruined everyone's fireworks. I didn't hear any noise, so I'm glad of that. If it doesn't rain anymore, they'll be out shooting off those loud firecrackers tonight. Some are so loud, sound like cannons going off. I'll be glad when it's all over with. The 4th of July is my least favorite holiday. It's always hot and noisy. I'll be glad when the whole month is over:) hugs, Darlene

I hear you, Deb! My a/c has become a very good friend of mine and I plan on keeping it company on the 4th!  

I hear ya! Stay imside, the heat is pretty brutal. 

Hello Deb, yep, way too hot here for us to be outside but hubby has been every day this week. Mowing, weed eating and tending to his small garden.  We both get the blueberries as they ripen too so the birds don't beat us to them.  It's been a blessing to have so many this year so I could share them with family.  Staying in today to enjoy the AC and watching some historical shows that are on this holiday weekend.  Enjoy your holiday!

My day off, 2 loads of laundry, cleaning bathroom mirror, dusting bedroom, watering plants in backyard.  Almost half of my "to do" list for today!
