We had over an inch of rain this morning and it quit about 10 am. Then we had another big shower this afternoon, drizzle and another shower. Now at 6 pm the sun is out and blue sky!

Good Afternoon. I hope you are having a nice Friday afternoon. Its been a busy one here. Went late this morning to get groceries at Walmart. Then when I got home had to get all the stuff out of my car, into the house and put away. It was a nice, cool and cloudy day when I left this morning. But on my way home and I noticed the clouds were leaving. Its 79F right now and I had to turn on the air conditioner. I'm glad its Friday as I haven't been sleeping good because I have a lovely allergy cough. When I lay down I start coughing. I have cough drops on the headboard but I don't like sucking on one when I'm trying to sleep. I had my husband stop at the Dollar General store last night and get me some generic of Delsym cough syrup. I use to take just the delsym brand name but it stopped working and now I take the generic. LOL Well enjoy your afternoon my friend. I have clothes and towels to put away. Take care.
The weekend is here..we had a good rain shower overnight..of course, the humidity has returned. No big plans today..but I did get the house vacuumed. That didn't take long. It's a holiday, but hubby is working a few hours. He has 4 weeks left of therapy. It's gone by fast.
I'm so glad it's better today. Lol, we had the same storm and I didn't get much sleep, but today it's a bit cooler with low humidity, so no complaints here. I do, however see a nap in the near future.
