Gosh, I almost forgot what sleeping late was like! I rarely do that. Do you get up at the same time every day, even weekends? We usually do!
Summer is in FULL swing in the DFW area. Our high yesterday was 104°.
Even the breeze was like when you open the oven to remove what you have in it.
There are playgrounds with water features for kids but it would be nice just to lay in a cool creek bed.
For some reason, it never looks hot at the beach or on an island in the middle of nowhere.
So let's just dream of floating down the river with Garfield and make the most of the month of August.

I can't tell you if it was 3/4/5 minutes, I was wrapped so tightly in his arms... it seemed like time had stopped... so wonderful...
our girls do that too Pam! best thing we've found is cutting a Vianna Sausage in half (we freeze them, to use when needed) and put the pill in the center, present it on the palm of our hand, and they snuff that sausage right down, LOL I don't think they take time to even chew it!
