Ohmygosh that's terrible! I swear if I buy another home I will have a storm shelter built in...this one is very small with no place to hide. Hence my little closet. My town doesn't even have a public shelter for the residents...

I was talking with our vet today, and he was telling me about a young woman who rushed her dog to see him after a fairly serious car accident. She noticed her dog was bleeding. The vet convinced her to let him take her to the hospital. She agreed to go after her furbaby was looked at.  It turns out she had a fractured neck, and her dog ended up with nothing more than a broken nail. 

The love for our pets ain't no joke. :)
