So sorry your butterfly bush didn't make it. I had the landscapers put six butterfly bushes in, and they did survive. I'm no good with plants. Everything I have ever tried to plant has died. I over water them and over feed them. lol
They're all so beautiful, and make me feel so calm watching them fly around. I have butterfly bushes in my front yard and it attracts so many different butterflies.
Ally, I'm glad it was nice enough for you to be outside, and filled up the bird feeders and rinse off your car. It was 49 here today, but the wind made it feel like 25. But at least the sun was shining. I can't wait for spring to arrive.
