Ceil & I both have trouble hearing things if there's a lot of background noise and with Ceil you have to have her complete attention or she won't hear what your saying to her but both of our hearing loss it's not bad enough to get hearing aids so far and /w me if some one is talking to me and I'm in another room I won't hear what the person is saying to me.
