poor you and car bills..


Saw lightning and heard thunder last night..the cats were under the porch roof
and  most slept there.  Started raining again this morning but stopped by noon.
Ive been cleaning out the frig, combining stuff, fried up rest of bacon to mix
in the cat food,,boiling up some rice as a base for tomorrow cat food ..mixed up some
green beans with red onion and bacon grease  for dinner..gotta thaw chicken
liver to cook up tonight....in frig have leftover mashed spuds,'
broccoli, beef stew, creamed corn to eat up.

Was watching Asian doctor interviewed today 0n tv,,he is high on "food
as medicine"..said we should eat organ meat like liver 1-2 times a week
 and more fatty fish like sardines and salmon..he talked blood circulation
to feet and legs which I need to improve..and suggested beet and
 pomegranate juice which dilates vessels and improves blood flow,
I like beets but only when pickled,,article says is OK but not as good
as plainly cooked.  Every dr I see on tv is pushing whole fat yogurt
,,greek yogurt..and says the low fat stuff with fruit added is not
very good health wise,,my sis in law used to bring me that stuff
all the time and I just tossed it.  Dr also said use tumeric seasoning
in cooking..is 2nd dr on tv that mentioned it recently..I added it
to scrambled eggs this morning,All are slamming instant oatmeal 
vs steel or regular oats and especially slammed the stuff in packets
with brown sugar etc already added. Asian doc said he cooked steel oats
at night and stored in frig then reheated  in morning.  I'm not that
organized..lol. Claim instant oatmeal, like white bread, has had the good stuff
processed out of it and salt and sugar added.  Eggs used to be slammed
as raising your bad cholesterol but now most say is excellent source of
protein for seniors who need to increase their protein intake as most
losing muscle mass as we age. Some say 2 eggs a week..one said 5 times
is OK,,I LOVE EGGS  so the more the merrier!ðߘ

Im off to go thaw chicken liver and check the simmering rice for the
cat food, If you have any health tips you are following, please share them..
especially concerning food and diet.  I dont need you to tell me to exercise
more cause I know I won't do it.☹️
