Howdy bud, it's thankful Thursday. ♥ I'm reminded to be thankful for the little things. I saw fireflies last night and they always delight me with their magical blinking. lol. When I see them I'm a kid again. I've been watching the coverage of the new pope selection. Even though I'm not Catholic, I enjoy the historical signifcance of such things.
Thankful Thursday is here. Oh my what a beautiful day the Lord has made for us today!
Let's start this day full steam ahead. The next thing you know it will be the weekend.
There are so many things to be thankful for today. The rains we have had recently have filled all the lakes (except 3) in our area to overflowing and made all the flowers so happy that they are blooming.
Most of my friends have seen sightings of a hummingbird. I have seen many of them but I spend time within 4' of two feeders most days sunning or reading or talking on the phone or to Jesus.
They are so beautiful when the sunlight hits their feathers just right. However, they are very territorial and when they chase each other away from the feeder, there are times they come within inches of my face.
No matter what kind of a day you are having, if you count your blessings by giving thanks, it will help you to forgive and forget your problems and add joy to your day. The choice is yours and God is waiting to hear from you.
Good afternoon, I hope you are having a good day. The clouds are trying to leaver here. It rained until midnight last night. Had lots of thunder but it wasn't bad. We got a little over 2 inches of rain. Was great. Ran errands this morning, then went and saw my son and his wife and the goofy granddog. She always so excited to see me. We don't have pets anymore. My little Bandit, a jack russell/chihuahua passed away 8 years ago. He was the sweetest little dog. I will have to post a picture of him in the gallery.
