Hello Di!! Shoo heat wave over us. 89 degrees here now. Air is running alot. Of course I didn't use good sense for our meal tonight!! Pinto beans&cornbread& fried potatoes&smoked sausage!! Going to make a cold dessert. Strawberry pie filling&eagle brand& coolwhip. Can add what ever else you want to!! Back is throbbing today!!. We had 63 years anniversary, yesterday! I pull my blinds in the house, when sun is on that side of the house. Helps quite abit with keeping it coolier in here. Boyd's sister, Bess, had shoulder surgery this morning. She fell a week ago and damaged her shoulder. Did well through the surgery. Be safe and big hugs from me!! Shirley

The deer have been a delight to watch. They have not messed with the okra plants so far. Steve hung the pie plate to scare way the critters. Hoping to have some pods from the okra soon. A little wren has built a nest in my huge rose succulent. I'm afraid to water it now. She has 4 eggs in there. ♥ Love you.
