Juneteenth is a Federal holiday which means no banks are open and no mail delivered.  

It is a great day to be with your children.  Teach them to dance in color!  

Teach your children all about life and how to live it to the fullest.  

They don't have to look perfect all the time, they need to learn to be kind.  

Remember that they are always watching to see what you do and how you handle things.  

Dad, teach your girls the basics like how to dance because dancing is important.  

While Mom's get to yell at their boys!

"That's it!  You are grounded young man!  You just wait until I tell your father what you did!"

Hello there. It has been hot and humid here. I have decided I can deal with the heat but not the humidity. The humidity just makes me miserable. We had a noisy thunderstorm at 10 last night. Thunder booming and rain and hail. We got a 1/2 inch of rain in the rain guage and a bug. I hope your day has been good. All I have left of my cold is the cough and my doctor said it could last for a month. I sure hope not. Well take care my friend and have a nice evening. Hugs

Mid week..mid month..June is flying by. We aren't growing any vegetables..just flowers. With all the rain we've had over the last week, everything is blooming. Of course, the grass is growing a lot as well. I did walk outside earlier looking to see how everything was looking today. How's Kenn doing ?

Oh, Di!! Yes, Boyd raises a garden each year! I have pictures of it, but on my phone. Groundhogs&rabbits have ruined his 4 rolls of green beans!! He is upset over it!
