Summer sizzle: I may have to water my patio plants two or three times a day during this heat dome or maybe even pull them into the shade which starts to take over part of the deck around 2 pm. The caterpillar eating my dill will soon be a tiger swallowtail butterfly.

Heading home tomorrow from our mountain trip. Much cooler today, and a rain shower moved in around 730 am. I'm sitting here now looking out the window...and the sun has come back out. Back home, next week, we are in for a hot week. Sounds like 100 temp index all week. I'll be camping indoors. Take care and have a good week ahead..
