Before Medicare will pay for certain things, you have to follow their critiera, like physical therapys, steriods, etc, which I did throughout the year...It may be that the surgery coordinator just has been too busy to get to me yet, since mine isn't a knee replacent, I don't know why they haven't called me yet to set the appt. Hoping tomorrow...if not, I'll call on Monday to find out what's going on.
yes, I have seen the drunk raccoon, it was on "ABC World News Tonight" (last night's episode) and more of the video was on the news this morning. I felt so sorry for that critter, the raccoon was taken to an animal shelter to sober up, plus they made sure it had no ill effects from the alcohol... Walgreens only has 2 of my 3 prescriptions ready, since EARLY this morning, I've been waiting on that 3rd prescription. So, I guess that will be ready sometime tomorrow. Glad it's not something my life depended on...LOL! I hope you have a wonderful evening,
Yea, saw that on the raccoon. A local dollar store here recently closed down for about 10 days..seemingly bats had gotten inside. I shopped there yesterday. Had not been there in several months. I'm finding myself now not driving much.the traffic and crowds are just too thick. As I've gotten older, my patience has thinned,
A lazy Thursday..waiting on rain to move in early morning tomorrow..much colder then, 41. Never saw the sunshine today. It's looking and feeling like winter early. Glad I got the daffodil bulbs planted on November 23. Now we wait...I saw one squirrel last week by the creek. Need to check the feeders soon. Seems they're just not eating as much now.
Hi Rick! I saw my primary care doctor this morning, he gave me a steroid shot and a prescription to help me fight off this cold...he did tell me that my lungs didn't sound congestive, so that was good. All in all, it was a productive visit for me. And maybe I'll be over the cold before my knee surgery is scheduled. As of 2:00 this afternoon, still hadn't heard from the surgery coordniator, maybe they are waiting for Medicare to approve or disapprove my knee surgery....
A bit warmer Thursday...50. Rain, once again...moves in Friday morning..much colder too, 41. I might make a trip to the grocery store tomorrow. Then again, might just do a delivery order online. Send snow -:)
Hi Rick! I'm fighting a dang cold, isn't having a bum knee bad enough! LOL! Hoping to hear from my doctor's surgery coordinator today to get my knee surgery date... the doctor said that she could clean up the mess in my knee, as an outpatient, that my knee would be better, but not 100% I told her I'd take a little relief over what I'm dealing with now... She also said that medicare should pay for the surgery, since I've already done ALL the required non surgical methods to help my knee, which it did not help at all, in fact, my knee is a lot worse than it was last year...according to the radiologist that read my MRI from last year to this newest MRI.

I have Mucinex and so much stuff.I thnk about catching a cold too Maybe the doctor went out of town for the holidays.
