Hi Ric. Welcome to November. Just think another month and you will be into Winter:). Are you looking forward to that? And we have summer to look forward too.
I see where you have turned your clock’s back this weekend. You get that extra hours sleep and suddenly the days are much shorter. We put our clocks forward the first Sunday of October.
Wer’re having a crazy day with temps close on 80f this morning then just before lunch storms rolled in dropping the temps to 60. According to the weather map steady rain is supposed to be falling but looking out there is just the odd spot or two. Other parts of the state may be getting it but we sure aren’t.
Last week was my busy and full week. It’s always that way the last week of the month. I had one day home out of seven. This week at this stage there are only two days I’ll be out so it will be much quieter.
What have you been doing? I guess with the cooler days there’s not much you can do outdoors. Have you had much rain? Now Halloween is out of the way I guess the next thing is Thanksgiving. It’s not our thing here although the stores are pushing it simply for the money purpose. It may catch on one day in the future. Everything is changing. Have a good day and a pleasant week Ric. God Bless. ~Pat~
It's suppose to dip down to 43 tonight. I noticed earlier the wind was picking up around 4 pm. Of course, we'll see 70 mid next week again. It's almost predictable the way our weather afternoon goes here, especially this time of year. Be safe, and enjoy the weekend ahead.
hello Rick! it's time to say Goodbye to October....tomorrrow will usher in another fall month and Thanksgiving...with even cooler temps, and Christmas carols! LOL! I'm going to our WalGreens to pick up 2 prescriptions...also, my hubby came home from work with a bag of fresh onions, he got for free, (he works part time at a discount grocery store) so we're having fried potatoes and onions for lunch! LOL!
Sunny skies returned this afternoon..a bit warmer too. But, tomorrow night, we dip down to 40 degrees. A chilly night indeed for the Halloween peeps. Picked up a few large limbs out of the yard tiday. We got 3" rain since Monday. Got to replenish the feeders in yard tomorrow. This week was a blur.
Hello Rick - It's been raining here; had a hard rain early this morning and has been drizzling all day.. What I call a spooky Halloween rain.. It will probably ruin the event for the trick-or-treaters.. Well, we're winding down Rick.. No more scary fun pictures; all gone.. Too bad you couldn't have worn an outfit to walk down the street to get some free candy in the neighborhood.. What day/night is trick-or-treat there? Ours is tomorrow evening, but it's gonna rain for the next few days.. That trunk or treat sure sounds dumb to me.. I'm glad they didn't have weird stuff like that when I was growing up.. Doesn't sound like fun at all.. Who wants to get their candy out of a trunk of a car.. I think only larger areas have that.. The smaller towns still do it the old-fashioned way.
