Currently 96 at 4 pm. Just a few drops of rain fell earlier. Though there's scattered showers predicted most of this week. I did water everything outside earlier this morning. Usually after this happens, we'll get rain..got the yard cut Friday, so for sure, rain will follow. Enjoy the new week ahead... -:)
morning Rick! well, the area the flooding happened is known as the Hill country, because of all the hills, then you add tropical storm rain that dump, over 14" of rainifall and all that water washing down hills to the river....the river rose 26 feet in 45 min...around 4:30 a.m. The total amount the river rose to was 32 ft 3 inches by 10 a.m.

Have a nice Monday we getting a little break from the heat till Tuesday
We are good here..folks East of us an hour and beyond got a lot of rain and flooding..but nothing like what happened in TX. It's hurricane season here thru early November.
Same here with the fireworks..downtown held its annual bash, as did surrounding neighbors. They were still sounding them off close to midnight. To me, it's just a waste of money. We've cooled off a bit due to the tropical storm that went over the folks along the coast. It shifted NE of us, thus cloudy conditions today. We'll return to high 90's tomorrow. One day closer to Fall -:)
