Such beauty to behold

That it’s like magic
Magic in the night
Nature’s reality show
What a sight

Why does it always seem as though the sky’s falling?
I’ve just found my happy place. .
why is the black noise filling my ears?
when all I wanna do is drift away from reality. .

My heart is freezing
from the fear that’s growing
I’m trying to walk away
but the invisible hands are invincible
piercing through all the good memories
washing them away with the tears
I can feel the waves at my feet

its floating beyond my reach

                           A SILKEN DREAM

licked by flickering candlelight,
floating through mists,
of swirling twists,
blurred in ecstatic delight.
I felt warmth in your embrace,
I felt our spirits rise,
to fly, to soar
away, forevermore,

on a peaceful breath

Gentle thoughts on gentle rain,
droplets fill the window pane
each drop a silent memory
of dreams that have remained

Patterns dance upon the glass,
stirring thoughts of now and past,
of love and life’s enduring times,
all my thoughts entwine

Patterns change, a sweeping rain,

                             DANCING WITH THE WIND

The wind is my dance partner I follow his lead
him and the beat is all that I need
We turn and swirl defy the laws of gravity
the love we share is far beyond sanity
The leaves jump up jealous and protest
but our moves are too graceful, there is no contest
we move so gentle were perfectly synced
there's no logic behind it, we dance not think
The wind is gentle and caresses my skin
we're locked in a competition and neither can win
At times we work together and sometimes apart
but I always come back, I dance with my heart
So we duck and dive swirl and prance
no one can keep up with our chaotic dance
I'll dance with my partner until the very end
with him I don't hide I don't have to pretend
