KNOWING PEACE

The fiery sun pricks my skin
sending shivers up and down my spine
The wind blows my hair
gently and softly like a lullaby
twisting the ends of my hair
into waves of light

The sweet scent of nature
is like an inhalence
I can't ever get my fix
the grass tickles my feet
they get lost and surrounded
by the weeds underneath

I hear the water clash with the shore
I take in that fresh scent
my eyes close
I feel my lashes
they tickle my face

I hear the soft whispers of the wind
faintly birds are calling
the wind cradles me back and forth
not catching me
but not letting me fall

                             SURFING ON ECSTASY

Sultry eyes beckon me to stay
as your tantalizing kisses sweep me away
Finger's caressing me soft and slow
feeling the heat as our desire grows
Skin on skin, I long for more
as you eagerly push me to the floor
Craving you as our bodies ignite
passionate moans summoning the night

as we ride the waves of ecstasy

                              BUTTERFLY  SONG

I watched a Butterfly today,
she seemed to know the right way.

She would flutter here and flutter there
and then she landed on my chair.

The sunlight glistened off her beautiful wings
and I swear I heard her begin to sing.

Her colors were all purples and pinks
and I could feel an emptiness in me begin to sink.

A Coldness in my heart began to melt
and a warmness replaced it, which I have never felt.

With one last chorus she fluttered high
I thought if I lost her I just might die.

Then I heard a voice, crystal clear
you shall never lose me, I will always be near.

So I have planted a butterfly garden you see,
for a butterfly must always be free.

And I watch my butterfly every day,
so that I too, now know the way.

                            INSPIRING ROSE

Red velvet petals, soft to the touch

never has one rose inspired so much

A scent so calming, beautiful and true

enriched by the sparkling diamonds of dew

Yet underneath the gentle exterior waits

a warrior protecting these heavenly gates

Sharp thorns run up this slim stem of green

proving not everything is as it seems

This thorned beauty teaches a lesson, take heed

how something so gorgeous evolves from a seed

Standing so tall, so delicate yet strong

standing for love, for whats right and wrong

Rich ruby reds, glistening with tears

a fragile masterpiece, matured over years

Beauty and strength come together as one

inspiring more hearts as this life goes on

                               TRAPPED IN PAIN

Looking for a way,

to escape from my confusion.

I made it on my own,

and that's my final conclusion.

My world is closing its doors,

and soon I'll be trapped inside.

I have nowhere to go,

I have no where to hide.

Plastered on the walls,

are the words of pain I shout.

Darkness with no answer,

don't even know what its about.

Reaching for invisible stars,

and swimming in the blackest sea,

My  world is always clinging,

to this constant, painful destiny.

Slide down the rainbow into a sea of gold
To a magical place where you never grow old

Keep a tight hold of your dear teddy bear
Watch as the mermaids comb their shining hair

Listening to them is such a lovely treat

Chocolate drops fall from a vanilla sky
Pixies and fairies are all flying high

About a little cow who jumped over the moon

Time in this dreamworld flies by way too fast
A cute little elf reaches for your hand
Ring around the roses then fall on the sand

Butterfly kisses and cold lemonade
An enchanted dreamworld that your mind has made
So go to sleep sweetheart, close your tired eyes
Spend all your sweet dreams with magic butterflies

and I could hear

You were so far away
and yet so so near

I longed to hear your words
trying to reach my heart

I wanted them to be for me
right from the very start

Maybe when we made a wish
we wished on the same star

since God could not join our hands
he gently joined our hearts

I felt your tears in the rain
as it touched my cheek

I wondered if you were crying
did you feel alone and weak
