LIFE ON SEVENTH STREET 15 (THE LUNCH TICKET)
This is kind of a little sad part of my life on 7th street.. When we were really down on out luck my dad didn't have money for lunch for us at school. It was ok because when I would go to school my good friends knew that I usually didn't have lunch money.. When my teacher would call out the names of the kids with prepaid lunch tickets one of my friends would get their ticket and then at lunch time they would slip it to me and use their change to buy their lunch. It was so sweet of my friends that did this many times for me, but I always felt bad and hoped that my brother's and sister's had lunch too. It's so hard to learn on an empty stomache! We never had breakfast so I was pretty hungry by the time lunch came around! Don't feel bad for us it was just part of life on 7th street!

The beauty around drew her in
She took in a lovely cooling swim
Water dancing with her strokes
Feelings of peace beauty evokes
Fantasy world her eyes do behold

SEVENTH STREET 14 (WHAT'S UP DOC.. NOT OUR PANTS!)
I remeber when all of kids would get sick at the same time or needed some kind of shot from the doctor.. We had a nice family doctor we went to and he would see all of at once. It was so funny he would tell us "line up at the table there and drop your pants!" LOL! How EMBARASSING!! we had to drop them and one by one the doc would shoot us in the butt with that awful needle... The only good thing was the lollipop afterwards.. (my brother always swiped them from us girls)! It was just funny how we all could get a shot and be seen at the same time everytime! Doctors were so different then.. He probably dreaded it and thought he would get us all done at once..lol!!

A LAUNDROMAT CHAT
Everytime I go to the laundromat to wash and dry my clothes, I have to hear people chit chat, and you know how annoying that goes.
As if doing laundry wasn't already a chore, hearing their gossip is such a bore, I try to tune them out, I try and I try, Can't wait till my laundry's done, so I can go bye-bye.

SEVENTH STREET 13 (OUR LITTLE TOWN)
Well my friends.. time for more Seventh street antics! There was always something to do on Seventh Street.. The neighbors our little friends we made out with in "the office" and us kids would go to the big field right next to our house that had a bunch of trees and a whole lot of dirt. Anyway we decided to build some tree houses, we built the biggest coolest tree houses ever! Not only that we made the little area a small fake town.. we made a post office (hee hee) a store and little street signs.. it was great! We had such a blast there until my brother decided to push my sister out of the treehouse he felt should be "boys only" she broke her poor arm. My brother got to go pick his whipping stick and of course it was brittle and dry and broke on the first whap (why didn't my Dad ever catch on to that trick?) so he got off scott free!! But our little town was the neatest place.. Of course when we would get in arguments with our little friends everyone would start knocking down the town.. When they got to knocking things down one of us would go get Fred and sic him on them.. haha!! That goose was a hero of a bird!! Those were the days! Dirty little faces after we would get done building.. It was all worth it.. we had our own town in the big old field!!
