I have been out of touch the last 4 days. Here in the USA Monday was Presidents day so all city and State as well as Government office then the Banks were also closed BUT my grand daughters University of Texas at Arlington was OPEN! Now my grand daughter is blind in one eye and has no paerifery vision due to a brain tumor she had at 2 years and eight months old with brain surgerty, radition and Chemo treatments so she does not drive and she relies on the HANDY TRAN bus to get to schoiol. The bus is run by who---yep the CITY! So, we traveled to Arlington Texas and I played cab driver as her step father is out of town on a business trip and her mom had an important meeting going on at work on Monday. So to make an even longer story short--- I was a good grand father. They live about 40 miles away NOT sure what that is in KILOMETERS for my UNAMERICAN FRIENDS (64K about?) My in box doth runnith over BUT I always enjoy my friends on here so keep me posted! Love and HUGS---- Ron------
Temps the next 4 days in the low to mid 30's with night tems falling into the mid to high teens. NOT at all usual for Texas. Then rain again. We just had 2 days of rain that cleared out yesterday with temps in the 50's here in Plano, Texas. It is going to be FUN taking the dogs out side the next several days. BURRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Ron------

What makes Christmas so special? I think it is our Christmas memories. Things that we have done with our with family and the special gifts we have all shared. I well remember the FOOD both the eating and the smells in the house with the cooking of that special meal. These things of our storys at a special time of year ring like a bell in my head taking me back into my own memory banks as a kid growing up during the lean years and the better years as I am sure it does to you. So Merry Christmas my friends and family, to you, your loved ones and even those lucky friends that you have that brighten your path in this life. A toast to you all. May the Lord bless and keep you. May you be blessed as the Wise Men Bless the Christ Child with their gifts.
