As the memories of the first snow day dance in my head. Old man winter has come once again. With a rugged beard as gray and white, piercing with his arctic breath and those cold winter's night. Winter with it's wicked wrath, leave's blinding beauty within it's path. Snow capped mountain's, and glassy pond's, as icicle's form, people skiing and skating oh what fun. Shawled against the goose bump air, bundled up with three layer's or more. For some, winter's chill is a friend, a time of joy, hot chocolate and play. For other's huddled around the jolly fire, to warm their frozen bone's oh to the warmth, with blanket's wrapped in every way, wishing old man winter will just go away. So let us honor each unique view, and find hamony in winter's varied way's, and endure this wintry cheer. For soon enough, warmer day's will draw near. Just remember it is only temporary.
For those whom are in harm's way, this winter storm from tomorrow into Monday perhaps, they say is nothing to play with. Hi Sharon! Since we have ice and snow in our weekend forecast, (starting Friday night) I've moved our bird feeder closer to our back porch, the birds have already discovered it there! LOL! I like it where I have it now, because I can see it from inside the living room, from my chair...today I saw a Cardinal couple, 2 doves, & several sparrows & wrens., the best part, the squirrels haven't discovered it yet. They can clear out my feeder in minutes! LOL
