~......a ,christmas  tree,is  a tradition .in most homes..Charles Dickens in 1850 in England talked of trees,,they were decorated .with  Tin ornaments ,painted in asian lacqerwork.pictures of clocks...[the tins can open too.or be discs,,,,but trees became really popular in Victorian times ..as Prince Albert.. brought the tradition over  from Germany.A decorated tree..became popular,,,real.Candles...and gifts .wrapped underneath...in the year 1848.there was a picture.of Queen Victorias  family gathered around a twinkling Fir.tree in the* London Illustrated   news,she had..,,5 children .at the time  x..they also,,made cut out,Roses in different coloured paper  .some foil paper,,.it was forecast to become popular  not only  in British..isles.....but also in Canada..and USA.....

 The  christmas tree. maybe  a descendant .of the  Paradise tree,,or tree of Life...seen in medeavil plays,,about Adam and Eve,,,also associated with Evergreen.were used in Fertility  rites,,..and to ensure the coming ..of Spring.

  We  have loved fir trees  for a ..long..time ..!

the christmas season,is here,,,we want different things~~~..according..to  a survey ..most important ..is Love..**..from a partner,[57%],, family  or mother..[40%]........4  in  10...want food in the fridge..38%...and  same for HOT food!.....HUGS are important.!...22%

...some need the internet and smart  phones...[communication..]36%

put  the HEATING on ..is also important especially  for the elderly  and baby infants...who dont exercise..]],,35%

we associate  certain scents and sounds  with  christmas,,,in a survey...it was found ..64  % of us like old movies,,yuletide classics,,*The snowman..*Love Actually..,,*white  christmas,,,and others....70% say,,,we love the smell of spices..in mulled wine:).....we love christmas songs  ,,carol s   too....,,,26 % love the smell...of  Turkey  roasting ,,,,   !  mmm,,,,,18% love baby sausages cooking ...:)[pigs in blankets,,,with bacon,,,],,,in UK hot sweet mince pies remind us of christmas,,.......what do you love to do  before santa  arrives?.....

..butterflies..are not like bees and wasps...who cope with rain ..these beautiful  creatures...**.a butterfly is quick to seek shelter....they hide away under leaves....or branches,,or cling to tall grass....a single raindrop...is a ,tenth of a butterfly s weight...[like a ten pin bowling ball dropping on a human !]....a butterfly struck by a raindrop has to do an emergency...landing!.....to places..where maybe a predator...lurks...:(..they need warmth..to quickly fly away.......they do get scales on their wings that repell...water...and they fold their wings tightly   as extra protection..

..they prefer,.warm dry conditions ,they are happiest with their wings in warm sunlight...they avoid windy weather..and stop flying.or searching for food ..

...I hope that they dont become  ...extinct..!!..with global warming...
