Country. And anything good. No rap or hip hop, although Jason Aldean came out with a country hip hop tune that I like and Colt Ford just came out with a new one too. Fancy that.

Having read several books in the last 8 months, including a book by Jim Rohn, The Five Major Pieces of the Life Puzzle, I am now in Eat To Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He believes that a diet rich in plant-based, whole food and little or NO animal protein is best for losing weight and being healthy. In other words, a high nutrition to calorie ratio. I agree and have lost a few pounds in the last few weeks to prove it!!!

Trying to help people understand how important it is to eat healthy(more fruits and vegetables) and stay that way to avoid getting sick or to defeating an illness.

I have resurrected my Bucket List:
1.) Follow Rte. 66 as far as it goes from Chicago.
2.) Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I am a Christian, a Navy veteran, a widower after 30-yrs, a retired electric utility worker after 35-yrs, now a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Ohio. I have 3 wonderful children, 5 terrific grandchildren, 5 grand dogs, and I love them ALL very much. lol. Recently, I started taking a plant-based, whole-food product to boost my immune system by the name of Juice Plus+. After taking it for a few months, I felt so good, that I became a wellness coordinator. I am working on the 4th level in the business which is Sales Coordinator. I want to help people feel better by passing along the knowledge I have picked up over the years. When my computer's Vista OS blew up in 2012, I lost a lot of my friends. Some of them I can't get back, some have blocked me because they don't know what happened. Wish I could tell them I want them back. When traveling long distances, I like to go by train. I've been to FL by Auto-train once, and to AZ by train 4x's. This last time in 2014 I went back to Phoenix on business. I missed the 2016 business Conference because I was just getting over prostate cancer, which I have beaten so far. Now, I want to help other men defeat it too.

In 2006, the book The China Study listed the nine most common auto-immune diseases as: Graves' disease (HYPERthyroidism), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Thyroiditis (HYPOthyroidism), Vitiligo Pernicious anemia, Glomerulonephritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Type 1 Diabetes, Systemic Lupus, Erythematosis. These diseases account for 97% of ALL auto-immune system cases. The book makes the case for a diet rich in plant-based, whole foods with 10% OR LESS animal protein to reduce the RISK of suffering from these and other diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity. So, it makes sense to me that we, as Americans who want to be healthy, must change our way of thinking and make one, just one simple lifestyle change in order to live a long and healthy life for our families.

If I can't see your profile, don't send me a friend request !!!People who do my thinking for me, people who try to tell me what to do(I've managed to screw my life up just fine on my own, thank you very much) and people who make assumptions about me before they get to know me. You and I must be friends in order for me to send you comments. And if you don't want to communicate with me, or I can't look at your profile, don't bother with me, pass me by.

Getting ready for the winter is a full time winter job,  But we do what we got to do and go with it I suppose,  I do enjoy my fireplace and I'm blessed to be able to cut my own wood even when I don't feel like it,  if anybody wants to help out I got plenty of coffee, :) Have a good day friend and be happy in whatever you do.

Sweetie!

Thank
you for all the lovely comments you have sent me. I'll be away in the
recording studio until tuesday, November 27th. I shall ALWAYS love you!

MUAH!

Love always, Annette, "That's All!"

Annette Hanshaw sings "Ain't Cha", recorded in New York on November 27,
1929, released on Paramount Publix SR1069P in select movie theaters
only! Annette is in her role as "girl big band singer" accompanied by
Ben Selvin and His Orchestra consisting of Red Nichols t,
Glenn Miller tb, Jimmy Dorsey cl, Jack Hansen bb, George Beebe d, Irving
Brodsky p, Tommy Felline bj, PeeWee Russell cl, and Fud Livingston as,
with Ben Selvin dir. The music was composed by Mack Gordon and Max
Rich. Ain't Cha was featured in the Paramount film Pointed Heels sung
by Helen Kane (Betty Boop) and the Paramount Publix label editions were
sold only in theaters at the time the film was being exhibited. There
were usually only 300 pressings of a Publix label so that they could be
considered collector's items. Helen Kane's version of the song could
not be sold by Paramount Publix because Kane was under contract to
Victor Talking Machine, but Kane did release her own version of Ain't
Cha on Victor on October 29, 1929, Victor label 22192, recorded at the
Victor Labs, 28 W 44th in New York.. Hanshaw was under contract to
Columbia which, produced the records for Paramount so Annette was
able to make the recording for sale in theaters.
