Haggard, LeDoux, Randy Travis, Strait, Alan Jackson, Mark Chesnutt...but there's room for a lot of different approaches to country music. Even genuine cowboy and rodeo star Chris LeDoux (R.I.P.) had several songs in his catalog and live show that approached the rockin' territory that is now being successfully explored by young artists such as Jason Aldean and Jake Owen. However - no matter what else may be going on in country music, its traditional side should always be honored and upheld. It says here that there will always be someone around to do just that.

Jake Winston has been recording country music demos for several years in and around upstate N.Y. He plays guitar, bass and drums in addition to doing vocals. Jake is also a big fan of classic western TV series and movies as shown on the Encore Westerns channel. Good evening . One more rotation will be another revolution (or lap) around the sun.  I hope this last was Blessed, and filled with many moments of Joy.  May 2025 arrive with new promise, and new hopes and anticipation of what our God will do. 

I am grateful for 2024 with it's blessings and even challenges, for your friendship here on MBP, and now, the anticipation of a second grandchild.

My prayer for you is for Peace, health, and the Joy of the Lord filling each new day with opportunity to bles others and to be blessed in return; for success in your endeavors; and grattitude for each and every day.

Be mindful of Grace and Mercy, shown to you and others, and know that you are loved.
