I love anything romantic, especially love poems! I am presently reading The Prayer of Jabez, by Bruce Wilkinson.

The Notebook, The American President, An Affair to Remember, Gone With The Wind, The Devil Wears Prada, Pretty Woman, The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, The Big Fish, Prime, Once, The Gods Must Be Crazy, Beaches, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Way We Were, Trading Places, Because I Said So, Bridge Over The River Kwai, A Magnificent Obsession, An Officer & A Gentleman, and many more...I mostly enjoy a good LOVE story....BUT there are very few movies that I don't like. I just prefer romantic flicks...and comedies...I am a romantic who loves to laugh, as well!!!!

I love Elvis, The Beatles, Rod Stewart, John Denver, The Eagles, Beach Boys, Supremes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Kit Kats, The Lettermen, All Motown Groups from the 60's, Country Western, Christian Music.........I guess I like music in general, except rap & heavy metal. I did make it to Elvis' 1975 Concert in Philadelphia. It was a big thrill...he was amazing....he was the KING! In the past 4 years, I have become very fond of Josh Groban, Jason Mraz, James Blunt, Brett Dennen, Rufus Wainwright, Damien Rice, Maroon 5, Mat Kearney, Lisa Hannigan, Jack Johnson & Keane...I just love Keane!!!

I adore spending time with my family & friends. I love making Soy Candles from recycled wine bottles. I also love to cook, nurture plants, read, poetry, long walks, bike riding & crossword puzzles. I love nature walks & walks on the beach!

To watch my precious grandson Gavin Michael grow up & be a happy, healthy & successful young man...to always be surrounded by family & good friends...to bring peace, love, joy & happiness to all those I meet...and to always have my strong faith in God!

My name is Linda. I was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1950. My family moved to the Wildwood area, in southern NJ, in 1955. My awesome brother Vic & I grew up in Wildwood Crest, NJ. I have 3 grown children...2 sons, Michael Russell Jr. & Corey Ryan...and 1 daughter Casey Rae. I have a grandson, Gavin Michael...DOB Sept., 3, 2007. I was very happily married to a wonderful & loving husband for 34 yrs. Unfortunately Michael passed away in March 2006. I miss him very much, but he will always remain in my heart. I have an amazing family and friends that helped me get through every single day. I work in a quaint little gift shop in Historic Victorian Cape May called the "Whales Tale". I love working there, and I love the people with whom I work. I enjoy making soy candles, watching Phillies Baseball, reading, poetry, plants, collecting Angels, music, daisies, pearls, walks on the beach, bike riding, a good movie (especially love stories), and just having a good time with my family & friends. I enjoy life and making the people I love happy...I am very passionate & compassionate...I've been told I wear my heart on my sleeve.
