Sis. Pam, can you explain to Bro. Doc (Pastor) what is retirement. I have yet to do such a thing at 71. I am up at 5 a.m. and to bed about 11:30 a.m. I am glad I am not retirement. Only for SSI am I retired but I still work and like it that way. Have a great day my friend. Bro. Doc
Even when you are retired, it is sure nice to have quiet time, especially on a Monday morning when you are starting a new week.
If the sun is rising or setting, a beautiful view can be calming and so enjoyable when the world is silent.
Way up high in the clouds might just be too quiet for me. I love hearing the birds sing and the songs the chimes make in our yard.
But I do love watching the clouds drift past and trying to figure out what they look like, even if it is just a canopy surrounding a tree.
Have you ever been up in a Hot Air Balloon? The sound when they have the jets heating it up is so loud and then it is so quiet.
