Catherine Annette Hanshaw was an American Jazz Age singer. She was one of the most popular radio stars of the late 1920s and early 1930s, with many of her most notable performances taking place on NBC's Maxwell House Show Boat. Over four million of her records had been sold by 1934, following the peak of her popularity.
In her ten-year recording career, she recorded about 250 sides. In a 1934 poll conducted by Radio Stars magazine, she received the title of best female popular singer. Second place went to Ethel Shutta, third place went to Ruth Etting, and fourth place went to Kate Smith

back to winter., cold and heavy rains and winds. went for coffee and the few stores bought some extra gift cards to have just in case i forgot someone.,
Hi Lisa i backed off from going grocery shopping.It was wet here, but not raining anymore until the 1pm hour just when i would be waiting for my groceries to get delivered. My luck h would be pulling up my driveway about now.
The weather was nice about 48 degrees compared to what we been through.
I do have to go at the end of the year for sure so i figured ill make just one trip walking instead of two If its COLD i wont be able to escape it so ill deal with it..So today i did alot of work in the kitchen .
Washed the floor and cleaned under the fridge , stove and under the computer desk ..

Temperatures are slowly dropping thats how its going to be here somedays very cold and then it warms up again then it goes back to being cold
Our snow here is melting away. Saturday will be a day like today not as cold.
