he's been hers ever since we got her as a puppy, Maddie was supposed to be mine, he didn't want anything to do with having a dog...LOL but Maddie sat in his hand, and slept by his side every day/night...he took her everywhere....fussed over her like he gave birch to her! LOL She's 11 years old now, and they both can't stand to be away from each other
