My heart has been heavy after reading the update this morning in the flooding/deaths. It just reminds us how powerful water is, as we saw here last September. Major highways, roads and bridges are yet to be replaced. The tropical system here has shifted NE of us, but has given us cooler temps for now. We will return to the high 90's tomorrow.
Yeah, Brackettville was an interesting little western town, Deb. They even had fake shoot-outs LOL. Not a religious person but sending healing vibes to all who lost someone. Hugs
So sad to hear about the flooding in Kerville, Deb. Many moons ago, I lived in Lake Charles, Lousiana and visited Texas often as the border town of Orange was only about 20miles away. Also, lived in El Paso for about a year so passed through Kerrville. Visited a place called Brackettville which is where the movie "The Alamo" was actually filmed. They couldn't do it in San Antonio where the Alamo is in a shopping street surrounded by Woolworths LOL
I had much rather be outside working than inside making a bed or cleaning!

Hello Pam! over the past few days, we've had lots of clouds, not much rain though, but it made a morning walk enjoyable I knocked out 2 miles, got laundry finishing up, but I don't have the energy to make my bed yet! LOL!
The ARMY made sure that we got that bed making thingy down pat, first thing after our feet hit the floor. Keep up the good exercise, walking, especially if you can do it in the middle of Nature. Best thing for anyone...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Deb, I pray YOU have a SENSATIONALLY SPLENDID SUNDAY, and have had a STUPENDOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
