Meant to say my dog is on allergy meds too. He takes Apoquel for his itchy skin. He is about 17 lbs and his meds are 34 a month approximately. It made all the difference, truly. It does cause (in some dogs) benign skin growths but it's still been worth it for him to have some peace and me too. Before Apoquel he would scratch, lick and chew his feet and body all night long, till he had bloody spots.
