I used to leave for work at 7:20, now with school, I have to leave by 7:00 and still get to work later than I want to. Rbt starts watering about the time I leave. Today is stiffling!!!
The heatwave is finally over here...still in the 90's but so far no 3 digit temps (at least for now). I've spent more time inside than out during this summer...I've been trying to keep up with exercising, but golly jeeez I just have no gumption to do anything with this weather, lol. There's always tomorrow.
I do the same here as well. It got up to a 107 heat index yesterday. We had high winds blow through last night, but the rain stayed N of us. Hopefully after Friday, we will see light at the end of the tunnel.
Good Morning Deb, same here. We are a heat warning and each day it feels like 110 or highter. UGGHH!! You're smart to do your outdoor chores early in the mornings. Hubby began mowing before 9 this morning for the same reason. My girls spent the day with me yesterday. We watched The Sheep Detective. I made some homemade granol and it urned out good. It's so expensive in the store I decided to find a recipe for it and just make it. Have a good today! love, Beth
