Summer sizzle: I may have to water my patio plants two or three times a day during this heat dome or maybe even pull them into the shade which starts to take over part of the deck around 2 pm. The caterpillar eating my dill will soon be a tiger swallowtail butterfly.
Hello dear Susan - I'm ready for fall already. I'm sick of summer. It's my least favorite season. Wish we could just skip over it. I do my fall countdown every year. I start in June and when that's over, I say 'one down two to go' and when July is finally over I say 'two down, one to go'. I do my countdown in months, June through August. These are the worst 3 months in my opinion. I don't count days. Seems to take too long counting in days! Well, it's almost one down. I have never liked summer (only as a kid) because we got 3 months off from school. I'll feel relieved once August is over and we're heading into September. My favorite month has always been October. Do you ever do countdowns? I've done this for years, every year starting with June.. Who did your layout? I don't see a name on it.. Good night for now.. xx Melinda
