Good Afternoon to you. I forgot to mention to you that we wouldn't be gone all weekend. We just went to the funeral and came back home the same day. It was a cold and breezy day. Saturday the sun was shining and it got up to 60 degrees. Now today its supposed to get up to 60 degrees but I don't think it will. Its getting cloudy and we have a very good chance for rain. The termperature this week are going downhill every day. By Sunday its supposed to be 41 and a chance for a frozen mix. Not my kind of weather. So I will be buying groceries tomorrow for this week and next. I hope you had a good weekend. I just rested yesterday as I was tired from the trip on Friday. It's a good day to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather here. It will be a busy week preparing for Thanksgiving! I just love Thanksgiving and smelling the turkey cooking in the oven.
I sure have been enjoying Christmas movies! Besides Hallmark movies I watch Christmas movies on Tubi and The Roku Channel which are free. They have so many good ones too and some are even Hallmark movies

we enjoyed an early thanksgiving meal at my daughter's and son-n-laws house yesterday. we had a whole fried turkey and a smoked turkey breast, it had some kind of jalapeno sauce over it, but it wasn't hot or spicy, both were really good, and of course, lots of sides to choose from, green bean casserole, sweet potatoe casserole, homemade dressing, cranberry sauce and rolls...for dessert, a chosing of apple, and pumpkin pie, and pumpkin cheesecake bars...that's what we all ended up eating for dessert, the cheesecake bars, they were soo good! we just stayed a couple of hours, had a great visit with my grandson and his girlfriend. Had to drive home on country roads in the dark...LOL that part was scary, watching out for deer.. we did bring home a plate for today...so we're set....oink oink... I mean.. gobble til we wobble...LOL!
Good morning Pam It's a xchilly Sunday here and it was cold here lastnight as well on Thansgiving Eve here it's going to be near 60* but on Thanksgiving Day it's going to be very cold and we might have snow flurries We've been up since 4:55 this morning so it's going to be a long day for us Ceil took our turkey out of the freezer this morning when we got up and put it in the refrigerator to thaw
Hi Pam, we had a great time, and ate way too much of course, my son-n-law fried a whole turkey, it was really good, but he also smoked a turkey breast, with some kind of jalapeno coating, that was really good and not spicy hot at all! had an apple and pumpkin pies for dessert, but my grandson's girlfriend brought pumpkin cheesecake bars that she had made so that was what we all ate, they were really good!
