Latest update on my brother Jimmy. His wife called me this afternoon. He came home yesterday from the hospital. Hospice started today, so he doesn't have much time left. He only weighs 138 pounds. So we will be going down this weekend. His cancer has metastasized very quickly. Jimmy had recently called me about 3 weeks ago. He sounded good then, but did mention that he had lost a lot of weight. It's late here (for me)..tried to go to sleep and I couldn't. Have an article to edit for the online paper. Will send it in sometime tomorrow. Anyway, just wanted to give you the latest update on Jimmy. Thanks for yiur continued prayers. It means a lot.

Hi there. I don't know how hot it is there but it's 100F here and windy. Feels just awful. I hope you like popsicles,I have sent you a few. Wish I had one. I have been doing laundry and just finished vacuuming. Tomorrow is supposed to get up to 103F and we are going to Oklahoma City. I have a doctor appoinment at 2:30 to get my Hormone Pellet Therapy done. Friday I will be packing for our trip. We are leaving Sunday morning, early. I will try to pop in on here if I have time. Well, Good afternoon! Nearly evening! Pretty day here and warm again. It is 85. Not as bad as it will be getting this weekend. We have a family reunion, this Sunday. So good to see those, we only see, once a year!! Eleanor came down this morning. She brought us, Arby's Roast Beef sandwiches. Usually I have a big meal for her. She seemed so tense when she arrived. She said to me later, Shirley, I have got to go home, I am so sleepy! I guess I bored her to death!! Just kidding! Have a safe and good week! Hugs Shirley
After 3 days of rain and over 8 inches of rain the sun is trying to shine. Oh I can't wait! The temps have been just wonderful though and it's been so refreshing.
Some days 7:30 sounds like a good time to get to bed! Hope you are doing well.
