Thanks, Alice. Yes, my weekend should be restful after the week we spent with our grandchildren...
These heat-driven fires are wreaking havoc in many countries...
Stay safe and take good care of yourself...
My thoughts are with the indigenous people, too...

Myriam, hope your weekend is rejuvenating. I have been indoors for the past few days due to air alerts. It's been hazy & the smell of musty campfire & plastic burning is pungent. I pray for the Canadians--as well as the wildlife--directly affected by the fires, esp. the Namaygoosisagagun First Nation.
It hasnt been as bad here as some areas...like a light fog but the smell was bad...my daughter had a couple of jobs in Ferndale and said it was bad there...Hope your day is good and your able to go out and enjoy some fresh air...
Hello Cyndi - I try to keep cool by staying inside with the a/c running and also drink water with lots of ice cubes. The colder the better. I like my drinks icy cold. Do you use ice cubes? I'm not an outside person anyway, so I don't mind staying in, but if I do have to go somewhere, I don't appreciate the awful heat around me.. Are you being effected by the wildfires in Canada? They say there are hundreds of them burning and the smoke is coming down here. The air looks smoggy and hazey. I tend to have a cough and the smoke is making it worse; also irritates my eyes. Hope it floats on down to Washington and chokes out the crooks in the White House. lol.. Well, nothing we can do about it. Hope you have good air conditioning at your place! xo Darlene
