Good morning Cyndi - My countdown is now over, which ends August. I realize that September can get hot too, but at least we have most of it over. Once September gets here, it seems as though time speeds up, especially in October. That month goes by so fast it makes my head spin. Did you ever notice the way the end of year months speed up? I realize they all have the same amount of days, but since I don't want them to end, they go by quicker. Then before we know it we're back on the path heading to summer again. Do you decorate for fall (other than your fall tree)? I put a fall wreath on the outside of the door and will buy some yellow mums for the front porch. Do you put fall mums on your patio? Will say good night. Hugs, Darlene
Good evening, Cyndi! How was your week? Hey, have you got any of those cupcakes left?? Sure looked delicious to me!! My sister-in-law, was admitted again to the hospital. Her legs turned red with blisters. Took two liters of fluid off her stomach, before beng dismissed this evening. Hard disease! Have a relaxing weekend my friend! Hugs Shirley
“The sun has disappeared, and the light there still is, is left in the atmosphere enclosed by the gloomy mist as pools are left by the receding tide. Through the sand the water slips, and through the mist the light glides away.
I hope you’ve had a really good week and that everything has gone well for you. I also hope you have some fun and relaxing plans lined up for the weekend you deserve it! Wishing you a lovely evening and, when the day finally winds down, a peaceful and restful good night.
Dear Boomer friends, I am flying to Sint Maarten with my sister’s son for a dignified farewell to his father—it is his wish to do so, as my sister cannot bear it. It happened on September 11, 2021: after a beautiful boat trip, he went to bed in the evening, exchanged goodnight kisses, and turned over—only to pass away. It was a tragedy. We are receiving this trip for free from the hotel. My sister’s son has worked at Schiphol for 25 years—kudos to him—and received a beautiful gold pin; he would love to place it by his dad’s urn when we are back in the Netherlands. A beautiful and touching gesture. I am standing by him! Lots of love and have a wonderful weekend, Dayenne and Sebastiaan.
