Good evening dear Cyndi - Is always nice to hear from you. Your patio plants are looking much better than they did the first time I seen them. Be careful the hot scorching sun don't ruin them. Marigolds and Begonias stand up well to hot sun. I'm ready for fall already. I'm tired of summer- it's my least fvorite season. Always wish we could skip over it. I do a fall countdown every year, starting with June thru August. These are the 3 worst months in my opinion. I count one month at a time and when June is over, I say 'one down, two more to go and when July is finally over, I say 'two down one more to go'. I feel more relieved when we're heading out of August into September. My favorite month is October. What's your favorite month? I do remember the ice cream trucks. Never had them pass through the towns we lived in. I think they use to stick to larger areas. We always lived in small towns. It would nice if you could introduce your taste buds to watermelon again:) They are so juicy and refeshing and now they come with less seeds, which I like. Good night for now. xx Darlene
I made a little different dessert tonight. You put this into a graham pie crust! But mine is piled so high!! Haven't tried it yet!! I took a can of eagle brand, 1 can of strawberry pie filling& 1 8oz. cool whip. Mix by hand very, very well. Place into graham pie crust! I think next time I will make my own graham crust and put it into a cake pan then dump all this on top!! Let you know if it is a keeper or not!! Shirley

You have some nice strawberries, ours were cooked by the sun before being picked...
Here, we are on red alert, forbidden to water outdoor plants and gardens, as well as to fill swimming pools and wash cars!..

Summer sizzle: I may have to water my patio plants two or three times a day during this heat dome or maybe even pull them into the shade which starts to take over part of the deck around 2 pm. The caterpillar eating my dill will soon be a tiger swallowtail butterfly.
