We are still thawing out here..the driveway has some ice lingering, but it should be clear and dry by this evening. They're forecasting snow for Saturday now. It will be interesting to see how this system pans out. It will only be a high of 28 on Saturday. I did manage to get to the grocery store mid day. We never lost power last weekend, so very grateful for that.

Hi Alice...I have worked from home for years as the bookkeeper and doing the payroll...sometimes wished I had a job elsewhere ( I did a few times even with working from home..worked at K-Mart. Payless shoes Burger king)...I never liked doing it but did it anyway. My husband retired a few years back and I just kept doing it with resentment..My son has been running our business but I finally said I am done...He has since started his own business and we are giving him all the assets ( trucks etc ) I am still dealing with a few things with it..The accountant I have had for over 25 year passed away just a few weeks ago and she was handling all the things for us to close..so its kind of been a mess but we are close to the end now...It will seem odd not to keep every receipt and have to write eveything down and not do payroll but I am thrilled...i do no like the cold and its not helping this sciatiaca but it is what it is..Hope all is good with you and your staying away from the news as much as possible..Good Night my friend
