They nap many times during the day.
Cats are naturally most awake during twilight hours. 
You might find they sleep more during the middle of the day.

Hello. My brother-in-law—my sister's husband, aged 67
—passed away suddenly abroad in September, and now his brother, aged 60, has also died. It’s a difficult time. I realize it’s not pleasant, but I had no choice.
