Afternoon Di - Has it cooled down yet? It only started to cool down here on Sunday.. It's hard to believe it's taken so long to be normal.. It's been raining since Sunday.. Glad about that because the rain has made it cooler.. Do you have any oak trees near your house? We have a few on the side of the house.. Every fall the trees start to drop acorns.. There's a carport out there with a metal roof.. You should hear the big bang the acorns make hitting that roof.. They sure do make a mess and are hard to walk on.. Always wondered how the squirrels can break open the shell.. They are as hard as a rock.. *hugs*
Good afternoon. Its a beautiful Fall afternoon here. A high of 72F and just a light breeze. The nights and mornings are cool but the nice sunny days are gone for the rest of the week. Going to be in the 60's and cloudy with a very good chance of rain every day and evening. We sure do need the rain. We were out of town yesterday. Tony, my husband had a 3 month checkup with his Diabetic doctor in Amarillo, Texas. Its a 3 hour drive, one way. It was very chilly when we left but warmed up nicely for the afernoon. Mid week again...looks like much cooler temps move in next week. Highs of 50's...Hunny cranked up the heat this morning..I'm still sleeping under a fan..(opposites attract)
