 Howdy bud, I'm keeping the girls' Springer Spaniel this week while they go on vacation.  She's 5 years old and such a sweetie. She's hyper vigilant and barks at ALL the outside noise including hubby doing yard work. lol. She'll settle down in a day or so. No plans for the 4th here, may cook something on the grill.  How bout you?  lots of love, Beffie

I hope you had a great weekend Di and looking forward to this new week. I'm not looking forward to the noise of July 4th and 5th, because it scares my dogs, but love watching the fireworks.  We used to go to the local firework shows, but as I've aged, the heat makes me feel icky...so we watch them on TV now!

Goodbye June!  Hello July!  Happy Monday to everyone!  

Won't you join me this morning for a spot of tea or coffee or your favorite?  

We had almost no Monarch butterflies this year and my Passion Vine had no worms or caterpillars hatch either.  

I love the iridescent colors in this beautiful butterfly.  Most of the ones I see are very plain.  

Our butterflies are usually white or yellow but all butterflies up to now have been very scarce this year.  

However, we had millions of dandelions!  Maybe they snatched up all the butterflies.  hehehe. 

It sure is wonderful to know that no matter what, we are covered by Jesus' blood and God's love.

 Good morning Di - Thanks for wanting to check on me.. I like to check on you sometimes too.. I'm not always a daily corresponder, but you're close in thought.. Sometimes feel a little sad, other times a little glad and other times don't know what I feel.. Confusing! The daily downpours have stopped.. Now it's too much hot sun.. Haven't been going out much lately, not even to eat out, which is usually my favorite pass time:) I'm glad this is the last day of June.. Now I can say one down two to go (my monthly countdown to fall I told you about).. Thanks for being you.. *hugs*
