Took this yesterdsy. The kitty krew is outside, but JB and GM come in throughout the day. Pepper stays in the back yard under shade. He won't come inside. I've been walking outside in the mornings. Looks like we could see a pop up rain shower this evening. Might see a brief cool down toward the end of next week..
Hello Di! I took my morning walk, afterwards, decided I need to go at 7 a.m. instead of at 8..it was fine at the beginning, but by the end of my walk, it was just getting too humid, so only got a mile...tryinig to get more than a mile a day in...2, 500 steps is way short of 10,000 "they" recommend. I wonder if I'll ever make that amount, probably not...LOL!

Howdy bud, thanks for sharing the link to the Boomer's birthdays on your page. I had looked everywhere for it here on the site and never did find it. I was finally able to get my REAL ID earlier this week and got the white star on my Driver License. I had to provide my marriage license as well as birth certificate. Those documents are something we all have but where oh where did I put them? Lol. I found the Birth cert. quickly but the marriage license...who knows? I was able to get a copy for $2 at the county records and good thing cause I had torn my house apart looking for it. Have a good mid week and stay cool. Much love, Beffie
Earlier this week, I took down the hummingbird feeders and scrubbed them. I made fresh food, filled the feeders and replaced them. The same day I saw a hummingbird.
I did NOT, nor have I ever seen a real albino hummingbird. But I do know that they exist.
I have seen so many pictures of them. Have you ever seen an albino anything?
It would just be magnificent to get a picture of one like this.
Or even one as pretty as this! Are your hummingbirds colorful? I do have ruby-throated and black-chinned. Most of them have pretty green feathers. However, all of the females are very plain.
I even tried setting up a place for them to play in the water and if they did, it wasn't when I could see them. So I will be happy that I am blessed to see them drink from the feeders that I put up.
