Rain moving in tonight..but it ends early am. One more ward day (Wed) 74. Then a cool down arrives for a few days. Have a few errands tomorrow. Time to see what's on sale at the grocery store. Turkey Day almost here -:)
Hi Rick! It's a beautiful sunny day here today, had my appt with the orthopedic doctor, she wants me to have another MRI of my knee, which I have scheduled for tomorrow evening at 6, she said if she had seen that MRI from last year, she would have done the surgury on my meniscus then! I go back to her on Tuesday, so we'll see what the new MRI shows, and she'll decide what kind of work needs to be done, but it will probably be done with only a laporscope (sp) and then physical therapy...YEA!
Looks like rain moves in tomorrow night. Then a brief cool down...just in time for Thanksgiving. Mid 50's for a few days. Keep hearing we won't see any significant cold weather till Jan/Feb. Time will tell.
Hi Rick! no we haven't been flooded out, almost got it from the back to back hurricanes when we lived in Florida...the big metal fence stopped the flood waters two houses away from ours, the other 7 that lined our street did get flooded after the waters took out all that part of the fence...that's one of the reasons why I wanted to come back to this part of Texas, also because I'm older and it was getting so hard to keep flying back to visit my family here. I was so nervous during hurriane season, June thru Nov.
I am so looking forward to seeing the doctor for my knee tomorrow! it's at 9 a.m. so I'll be leaving out of here around 8:30, the doctor comes over from Ft Worth once or twice a week, not sure but everything I read about her, makes me feel confident that SHE will be able to really help me.

Hi Rick! we had storms (LOUD thunder, lots of lighting too)since 2:30 this morning & got 2" of rain, looks like we won't be getting any more for a while... I hope you have a wonderful day my friend.
