Hey Rick - Yeah, I do remember you telling me that you keep your furnace turned down low, but I forgot how low.. I thought you kept it about 65 all winter.. The last two days when we had freezer temps, I turned the furnace up to 77 for awhile.. It's not as bad today (not near as cold as it was).. We got 2 inches of new snow today.. The snow we had looked dirty, so the new stuff looks fresh.. What's going on in your area?
Sunny and cold today, but we will warm to the mid 50's today. Still expecting a crazy weather system this weekend..snow/ice. Much of next week will remain in the 30's. The bird seed delivered yesterday so I'll be filling up the feeders this afternoon. Hope you're having a good week.
Hey Rick - Have you frozen out there yet.. I know Chicago is known for cold weather in the winter.. But then in the summer your temps are usually hotter than here.. I know you don't turn your furnace up too much that's why I was wondering if you froze yet.. It's 1 degree here.. It's so darn cold, it hurts.. I don't think people in the south have a clue just how cold that is.. You got to experience it to know.. That's colder than a home freezer..
We're expecting ice/snow next weekend..this system seems to be making itself known early for the weather peeps. Looks like 40's all week. I'll get groceries tomorrow, as I never got there last week Last time I was in this store, they were still under remodeling and it was a mess. I normally go on Tuesdays anyway to check their sale on meats. Oir freezer is almost bare. I got the stove cleaned this afternoon. It looks brand new again. Ts 30 years old, so we hope it continues to keep going. There are a few rust spots, so I am going to use some appliance touch up paint for that. Ordered online today, so it should arrive tomorrow. Also ordered a 15 pound bag of the good bird seed. Our feeders are empty again. Found it at a great price today online /Walmart. Hope your week goes well.
