Hi Ric. It’s New Years eve here and another year gone. I for one won’t be sitting up to see the new one arrive. Definitely past that excitement. Sounds like your neighbour has a cracking good time with his fireworks. I’m surprised he is allowed to use them privately. That can’t be done here anymore. It’s illegal to use fireworks privately unless you obtain a license and then it must be for a solid reason. All fireworks here are done by professionals. Do you know those fireworks must frighten those little squirrels not to mention the dogs and cats.
I’m thinking that when I next go grocery shopping the Easter buns will probably be on the shelves. That’s the way its been these past few years. They used to be such a novelty once and were a treat.
The past two days have been rather warm with the daily temps over 100f. However, today it,s back down to the low 80’s. and will stay like that for the week.
Got a new bird feeder..this one is metal..very good quality and size. Got it filled and set out earlier today. It's very chilly here today. The winds were wicked much of yesterday. Picked up limbs earlier, as well as other debris from yard. The trash bins were emptied this morning, so thankful the winds didn't tote them off. Not much planned for today. I am waiting on a grocery order delivery. One more day of 2025. It's been a fast year.
