embracing the sun

Laughing at life, all is alright

the wind in my hair

the sun on my skin,

letting go of it all...

feeling freedom

                             MY HEAVEN ON EARTH

I used to think I had to die to see heaven,
but now I realize,
that if I want to see an angel,
all I have to do is close my eyes.

Close my eyes and see you're face,
it takes my breath away,
you're my heaven on earth,
my beautiful bouquet.

The only one for me,
my angel in disguise,
I'll love my angel forever,
even after my demise.

You're love is unmatched,
there's nothing as precious in the world,
something very special,
like a diamond or a pearl.

You're the one who gives me wings,
the one that makes me fly,
the one who understands me,
we see eye to eye.

So you're my heaven on earth,
the reason why the sky is blue,
you're everything this world's worth,
you're my California view.

You see heaven's missing an angel,

but heaven can't have you back,

Lonely walls along the street,
boulevard of quivering trees
Distorted hope quietly sleeps,
caressed by deceptive breeze

Smiles dissolved into horizon,
dreams framed upon a tear
Frosty glares, piercing sigh,
eyes cry incessant fear.

Scourged by the nightmare
who should I forgive?
Can somebody take me home
the home where I once lived?

I watch the grains of time trickle by..

standing in the darkest clouds

along the riverside..

Those little grains..all memories

slipping through the

hazy glass..

They're here and gone..

so fast..

leaving just a haunted 

glimmer of

happiness..

dreams and wishes of

my distant past...

One grain at time they

fall..

time is never

on my side..

and the dark storm

won't subside..

Once they all fall..

I won't feel anything

at all...
