Hope it was just your battery..depending on your model car, you can pull the codes yourself to decipher what triggered the check engine light. We had a Dodge intrepid many years ago and it was always throwing the check engine light. Sunk quite a bit of money into that car. It was a semi busy Saturday here. I made banana bread (almond flour) and potato salad. Had leftovers for supper. So tomorrow I'll need to pull something out of the freezer. Wishing you a wonderful new week ahead.

I hope you were able to get your car fixed! My car died awhile ago, so it's a good thing everything here is just about within walking distance. Looks like another few days of staying inside again...under an extreme heat warning through Monday. Lol, here we go again!

Hi Deb, love your page! Thank you for the sweet birthday wishes. I had a good birthday. Hubby got me a patio rocker for outside, kind of a mesh fabric like outdoor chairs.  The girls took me to see The Odyssey in IMAX.  It was very good but really intense and LOUD! lol.  It was also 3 hours long.  Hope your car won't be a big deal to fix. I know that was aggravating and kind of scary to be out and about by yourself and have that happen.  My engine light comes on frequently and hubby says they are pre-programmed to come on every so many miles, sometimes it needs to be reset,  but in your case it sounds like it was def trying to tell you something. LOL.
